PROPAGATION OF WAVES IN MICROPOLAR THERMOELASTIC WAVEGUIDE

Abstract

Wave propagation in heat flux dependent micropolar thermoelastic waveguide occupying the cartesian space, x1  [O,L], x2  [–H, H], x3  [-, ] is discussed. The problem is solved by applying finite Fourier transforms. Frequency equations have been derived. For the case of very short waves, numerical results are presented and role of various parameters is discussed.
