SERVICE QUALITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN HARYANA : AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF A REPUTE STATE UNIVERSITY

Abstract

In India total no. of Universities are 568 including Central Universities, state Universities, Deemed Universities and Private Universities. Out of these 41 numbers of universities are the Central Universities, 285 are the State Universities and 113 numbers of Private Universities,129 are the deemed Universities. These Universities are being established with a view to provide Higher Education in India. So that we can be independent in regards to Professionals like Engineers, Doctors, Lawyers, Scientists and many more. For this Purpose lots of Universities have introduced various professional and vocational courses. It becomes the reason for rapid growth for higher Education business. This growth has been mainly driven by private sector initiatives. With this rapid growth there has been a stiff competition among the Universities. This kind of competition has introduced the various concerns like quality of services.
