Abstract

Change is the law of nature and for survival one has to adapt according the environment. Globalization and technological change have accelerated in tandem over the past years and have created a new global education ―Powered by technology, fueled by information and driven by knowledge. Any change in nature, purpose, quality or character of school education throws new demands on teacher education and reinforces the program evaluation and readjustment especially in the area of the developments in the application and dissemination of knowledge and technology to meet the changing demands in education.
