The basic purpose of accounting information is to help users make decisions. Management accounting is branch of accounting that produces information for managers and forms an important integral part of the strategic process within an organization. It involves the process of identifying, measuring, accumulating, analysing, preparing, interpreting, and communicating information that helps managers fulfil organizational objectives (Horngren, Sundem, Stratton, Burgstahler, & Schatzberg, 2007).
