Abstract

This paper proposes an in pipe inspection robot with the wall-pressing force adjustment using DC motor. It is developed for long distance inspection in sea-water pipelines such as horizontal pipelines and slope pipelines with large variable diameters from 600mm to 800mm. Its mechanical design consists of two modules as driving module and control module. The driving module has three pantograph type links spaced in 120° with three caterpillar track wheels. This design makes it possible to realize the adaptation to pipe diameter and the adjustment of wall-pressing force. The control module consists of a micro controller, motor driver and sensor interface. To control the in pipe inspection robot, firstly, the in pipe inspection robot is considered as a dynamic model of mass-spring-damper system. Secondly, an observer is designed to estimate the unknown wall-pressing force to sustain the robot in pipeline. Thirdly, an algorithm of wall-pressing force generator is presented to find out an appropriate reference value of wall-pressing force.

Abstract

It's never simple for new sites to expand their rank on internet searchers in light of obstructions. The hindrance is known as a sandbox. Sandbox does not permit to get great positioning for its catchphrases. It permits when site gets develop enough. Albeit there is no immediate affirmation of the presence of a sandbox. This examination work suggests another systems of website streamlining without getting sandbox. In this paper, we examine the diverse procedures so any site can exploit the activity and have a decent online vicinity.

Abstract

The corrosion resistances of austenitic stainless steel grade 316 were performed in 3.5 wt% NaClsolution using the electrochemical potentiostatic polarization method. The result showed the less active corrosion reactions in presence of chloride ion results in pitting corrosion observed on the metal surface. The potential range of passivity was shortened and both the pitting potential and protection potential shifted towards the active direction. Potentiostatic polarization method was used for the pitting corrosion investigation. The electrochemical corrosion reactions exhibited both the passive and active corrosion reactions characteristics. The acids at the intermediate concentrations show more obvious active corrosion reactions; while in the concentrated form they were relatively passive – the passivity that was associated with the oxidizing nature of the concentrated acids.

Abstract

Spectral risk measures thus enable us to associate the risk measure with the user’s attitude toward risk. Therefore, we might expect that, all else being equal, if a user is more risk averse, then that user should face a higher risk, as given by the value of the SRM. SRMs can be applied to many different problems. Studies have suggested using them to set capital requirements, to obtain optimal risk-expected return tradeoffs, or even to set margin requirements for futures clearinghouses.

Abstract

The contribution deals with the transformation of engineering drawings in a paper form into a 3D computer representation. A 3D computer model can be further processed in CAD/CAM system, it can be modified, archived, and a technical drawing can be then generated from it as well. The transformation process from paper form to the data one is a complex and difficult one, particularly owing to the different types of drawings, forms of displayed objects and encountered errors and deviations from technical standards. The algorithm for 3D model generating from an orthogonal vector input representing a simplified technical drawing of the rotational part is described in this contribution. The algorithm was experimentally implemented as ObjectARX application in the AutoCAD system and the test sample as the representation of the rotational part was used for verificaton.

Abstract

In India, the quarrel between the budding human populace and the planet’s unchanging supply of freshwater and falling water tables have strained attention the reuse of grey water as an alternative water resource in rural development. The alarming rate at which this precious water resource is being depleted due to unsystematic and haphazard exploitation is a matter of serious concern especially in case of fast growing urban cities. In order to cater to the growing demand of water for drinking and domestic purpose in the areas where the sources of surface water are low and the ground water based supply is the only dependable alternative, it is essential to use the available fresh water in a very systematic manner. This paper examines some of the grey water characteristics, collection and treatment systems available in the market for use in a household and in some other buildings.

The purpose of this paper to scrutinise the use of time, space and uncertainty. In this paper, I have observed at certain major inconsequential and particular relevant to the theme of time, space and uncertainty in ‘Waiting for Godot’ The conjoint viewpoint about the play is that the themes immensely revered. In waiting for Godot, Beckett accomplished use of the worldwide theme of human circumstance and man’s anguish at being impotent to find a meaning in presence (The Theatre of Absurd, 45), when antagonizing men’s wish to explore the meaning of life. Usually, men try to catch the meaning of life his particular pattern centred on their daily routine. If a man is not able to find his own his way, while promptly fantasying about the reminiscent life that he has been expecting.
