Abstract

No district in Pakistan and Bangladesh are economically sound as like the Mirpur and Syhlet. This article discusses about the socio-economic and cultural changes brought by the remittance. It also tells about the growing consumer culture and availability of tomato ketchup on the local shops, which is clear indication of globalization and its impact on the rural villages
