Research on motivation has attracted academic, corporate and other fields (like sports, teaching and puniness) over the last two decades. In an organization employees motivation is the key factor for organizational performance for achieving organizational goals. To improve the overall performance in a business it becomes essential to increase the efficiency of human beings. The performance of persons depends on the factor Motivation. This research paper contains theoretical & practical aspects of motivation along with the techniques of motivation that help the managers in applying the concepts of motivation to link theories to practice.
