Abstract

Supplementary Nutrition Programme is provided to children below 6 years of age, pregnant and nursing mothers and adolescent girls of low income group to improve health and nutritional status. The ICDS programme aims at enhancing survival and development of children from the vulnerable sections of the society. The present study was conducted to assess supplementary nutrition activities and its related issues at Anganwadi Centres rural block Karsog Himachal Pradesh.
