Abstract

The primary objective of Exim Bank is to provide export capability in entrepreneurs to facilitate export production and international competititiveness of borrower companies. The Bank develop commercially viable relationships with a target set of externally oriented companies by offering them a comprehensive range of products and services aimed at enhancing their internationaliz-ation efforts. The present research paper focuses on finance schemes of EXIM Bank which are provided by Exim Bank to promote Indian exports. The purpose of this research paper is to examine the of performance of EXIM Bank in financing exports and imports during the period of study (i.e. from 2003-04 to 2016-17). EXIM Bank through its financial assistance programs is extending a helping hand to export oriented units as well in buildings their competitiveness.
