Abstract

For any organization to suffice in this changing business environment it has become vital for every organization to keep their employee’s updated and engaged. The main aim of carrying out this research is to understand the importance of carrying out Training and Development and Employee Engagement and to study its impact on the overall organizational productivity and profitability. This study will help us to know the process of this HR practices and the challenges faced while carrying out such processes. The study concludes that the learning and development and employee engagement activities have a great impact on influencing the performance of the employee’s by increasing the competencies of the employee’s thus meeting the organizations productivity thus leading to growth in longer terms. Thus the organizations should thrive for turning their organization into learning organization and thereby allowing their employee’s to enhance their intellect and caliber.
