Abstract

eCommerce industry has taken the world by storm! Growing steadily year after year in breadths and lengths, it has surprised us a lot in many ways. It is growing at a blink and you will miss its pace. If reports are to be believed, India’s eCommerce market is likely to touch USD 33 billion in the financial year 2017. Further, according to the reports of ASSOCHAM- Forrester study, the online sales in India are expected to hit USD 120 billion by 2020. The best is yet to come! eCommerce industry is growing at beyond belief rates in India and is anticipated to account for 1.61% of the global GDP by 2018. The projections seem to be very promising and this will ultimately contribute to India becoming one of the powerful economies of the world in the years to come.
