Abstract

Leaders with their thoughts and actions have always played an important role in encouraging the nation including the organizational members to a great extent. The golden period of any organization’s presence in the business world is marked mainly by its leader. Organizational dreams may be turned into reality when there is the presence of effective leaders all the time. To find and develop the potential leaders from the organizational point of view, the role of succession planning comes into play. Keeping this in view, the research paper highlights about the overview of Succession Planning which not only enable the business moving ahead but also prepares the organization for the major upcoming events and keeps the organization’s future in safe hands. ‘Succession’ term itself ensures success by its way of planning for the future build up of leaders as well as the best workforce.
