Abstract

The success of any business depends on the efficient management of its liquidity. Liquidity management is a distinct function of business in the modern era. It is a day-to-day challenge for company management to find balance between short-term sources of fund and their utilization. This paper modestly tries to investigate short term financial strength through liquidity performance of some listed healthcare companies in India. A sample of four listed companies in healthcare industry has been selected. The study is based on secondary data collected from various reliable sources. The chosen study period is from 2011-12 to 2015-16. The liquidity indicators are Current Ratio, Liquid/Quick Ratio and Absolute Liquid Ratio. Liquidity ratios are used to determine how quickly a company can turn its assets into cash. In this paper liquidity performance has been tested with the help of a statistical tool F-Test (ANOVA Test) to make the study relevant and draw conclusion.
