Psychologically, each individual is born with specific inherent attitudes, interests, tendencies, and capacities. In order to be an acceptable member of the society, he has to mould and modify his behavior, learn and acquire various manners, qualities and etiquettes, and has to follow the rules, customs and traditions of the society. The social interaction enables an individual to develop social attributes like tolerance, cooperation, and fair play. It inculcates the spirit of service and sacrifice, and cultivates a sense of responsibility and duty besides providing social efficiency. It can thus, be said that the essence of an individual’s development is the development of the society.
