Abstract

The objective was to help the players of petroleum Industry to better understand the perception and preferences of its customers and will enable to take corrective measure in the present situation of globalization of market. Objective was identified regarding bulk consumers. “Understanding the process of decision making for purchase of fuel by bulk consumers. some major bulk consumers from different sector (Transport, Industries, and Defense etc.) was selected and had a structured interview of all the five suppliers (IOC, BPCL, HPCL, IGL, and RELIANCE)
