Abstract

The sustainability for human existence depends upon the environment in which it thrives. Healthy environment is must for fulfilling the aspirations of the human being and to ensure that man lives a dignified life. Recently, it is globally recognized that there lies a close nexus between environment and human rights. Deterioration of the environment is in some way endangering the human existence. Pollution is playing havocs with the lives of the people all over the world. Billions of the cases of diseases being reported attributing to the degradation of environment as the sole cause. Climate Change is aggravating the fragile situation of the environment.
