The term symmetry implies a structure in which the parts are similar both to each other as well as to the whole structure i.e. the structure is proportional as well as balanced. In our day-to-day life, we find symmetry in many things though we usually don’t notice it. It is easily noticeable in various arts, buildings, and monuments. Nature uses symmetry to make things beautiful. The objects, images etc. look more beautiful due to symmetry. For example, the beauty of a butterfly lies in its symmetry.
