Abstract

As we are listening from our childhood that “Change is the law of nature”, “The only certain thing in the world is the uncertainty” and “Change is unavoidable” etc. This applies to all type of organizations too. It may be a technological, strategic, product, structural or culture change. Organizational changes can also be classified as planned or unplanned, temporary or permanent and incremental or transformational change. It is well known phenomenon that people resist change, it’s a general tendency. There may be many causes to this resistance. The traditional way for a successful change is to educate, train and motivate employees to face the change.
