Abstract

With advancement in technology and easy availability of internet resources, social networking has become one of the necessities in the daily lives of young generation. As the technology has been changed rapidly, It is at its best medium to explore the plethora of knowledge and information. Social networking has lot of potential for academic enhancement if it is used properly by college students but at the same time it can decline the academic performance if students get addicted towards useless thing available on social networking. The purpose of this paper is to examine the positive and negative impact associated with social networking on the academic performance of undergrduate level students of University of Delhi. The study is based upon primary as well as secondary data. To achieve the results, a questionnaire has been collected from under graduate level college students of University of Dehi and has been analysed accordingly by using the statstical tools.
