WOMEN ROLE IN PRINTING INDUSTRY

Abstract

Printing industry is the fastest growing industry in whole world. Printing is an art, science and technology which reproducing text and image, typically with ink on paper using a printing press. Today society gives parallel opportunities to men and women in every profession. Both men and women play an important role in the development of an organization. With the rapid development of world printing industry, the demands of printing professionals have been increasing day by day. Women can used their inherent capability of perception, reorganization of color, design creativity and fast analysis power in better way than men. Women easily detecting the color difference, color favoritism and color perception. New trends in the printing industry have improved women efficiency, work ability and now they play an important role as a team leader and a member in printing organization. There are critical challenges which faced women in printing industry like shift work problem, increase working time, bigger machine sizes etc. All these challenges overcome by proper management system and automation on printing machine. With the help of this study it is found that women play an important role in various printing field and increasing the sales and production of printing products.
