Agriculture sector provides employment and earning avenues to 50% of Indian population. The poorest peoples belong to this sector. More emphasis is required to address agriculture sector with the help of technology and marketing. The present scenario of our nation in agriculture sector has worsened despite of several research in developing high yield seeds and technological enhancement in farming machineries. The research is carried out in context of enhancement or maximisation of profitability involved in agriculture sector. ATMA (Agriculture Technology and Marketing agency) role in both technology and marketing plays a vital role in profit maximisation will be tested. Poverty in societies discriminate the poor people from others in terms of food, education, living standard, etc. Various development programmes had failed to address the issues related to poverty. Country like India with so much of diversity shall make effective planning and programmes to narrow down such gap among the peoples.
