.The required level of fitness is recognized as being important for health and physical performance and is justified as a healthy lifestyle area to prevent disability. Fitness is important for doing the job it just unknown then quantity wise. In the absence of data documenting the specific amount of fitness necessary to do the job, it is concluded as reasonable to expect individual to be as fit as their age and gender norm group. Consequently the Cooper age and gender based norms were recommended. The same percentile rank for each group was recommended to be applied as a standard, however the specific raw score for each percentile rank varied by age and gender group. And, hence the fitness test was established for post graduate students
