Abstract

Cancer is ultimately the result of cells that uncontrollably grow and do not die. Normal cells in the body follow an orderly path of growth, division, and death. Cancer is second largest non-communicable diseases and it has a sizable contribution in total number of deaths. To understand the etiology of cancers in depth, analytic epidemiological studies should be planned in the near future on a priority basis. The main aim of this paper is to compare and projecting number of cancer cases in Haryana for 2012 to 2016 by using a mathematical model & least square method. The data were used from Pt. B. D. S. PGIMS, Rohtak (Haryana) for the year 2005-2011.
