Abstract

Due to large scale urbanisation and industrialisation, countries face a myriad of problems ranging from widespread poverty, inadequate essential services, environmental issues, health concerns, inequalities etc. This paper attempts to discuss the concept of sustainable development with a focus on environmental concerns. The purpose of this paper was to provide a review of the existing research in the area of Sustainable Development. Sustainable Development basically includes Fairness, environment protection, and economic efficiency.
