Abstract Of specific concern in the study has been the microrotation of suspended micro-particles of a fluid flowing through a narrow confinement. The flow is initiated by two vibrating plates and the fluid is treated as a micropolar one. The equation for Gauss’s distribution of charge has been solved analytically. The equations for conservations of linear as well as angular momentum have also been solved in order to get a clear picture of velocity and micro-rotation profile with that of micro-polar parameter. An appreciable reduction in microrotation is observed with the increase in micro-rotation viscosity when the dynamic viscosity is maintained at a constant level.
