Abstract Multi Level Marketing is one of the fastest growing non-store retail formats in India. Multi Level Marketing (MLM) is also known as pyramid selling, network marketing and referral marketing. The growing Indian market has attracted a large number of Indian and foreign direct selling companies. Multilevel marketing is gaining importance among women. This is a big opportunity for women who want to earn money but have no sufficient time and money, for self, family and future. A large number of women from middle class family have joined into this business of MLM by paying an entry fees or purchasing some products. Mostly women of the study area are educated and they want respect and recognition. MLM is the right platform for them. Mostly housewives of the study area are not in touch with any traditional business and they have rigid mind set about business. They are facing many problems to build MLM business. In this preceding research paper it is found that women of the study area have inadequate knowledge of benefits of MLM and it needs to be improved.
