Abstract

There are several ground-dwelling ant species involved in mounding and indirectly influencing below-ground level soil quality with total root biomass. Bioturbation is the most important activity of ants that modifies and homogenizes soil profile where the mound nest process affects the vegetation with below-ground plant parameters.
