Abstract

In the area of study the crop of Cyamopsis tetragonoloba is associated with thirteen weed species. On the basis of IVI Trianthema portulacastrum Linn. dominate the community at all the sites and the next in order is Chenopodium murale Linn. The present paper describes allelopathic effects of two dominated weeds Chenopodium murale Linn. and Trianthema portulacastrum on seed germination and seedling growth of Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (Linn) Taub.
