Abstract

This paper deals with the rainwater harvesting to groundwater management in granitic terrain. Beyond the periphery of the study area, groundwater quantity and groundwater development stage is very good. In addition, the rainfall of the Gadchiroli district is satisfactory and maximum precipitation is observing in Kurkheda block than other blocks. The overall average annual rainfall for last 10 years during 2002 to 2011 is 1345.19 mm.
