Abstract

Every day huge quantities of waste are contaminated the sources of fresh ground water. The mission of providing suitable treatment facility to remove pollution of all sources of water is hard and costly, so there is an urgent need for innovative, low-cost technology that require low maintenance and energy efficient. The adsorption technique is such process to treat the water. In search of low cost having no maintenance, we planned to use homely reliable and economically cheap technology for removing pollutants from drinking water so we used Lemon peel as an adsorbent to purify it.
