Abstract

In the present article, the electronic, magnetic, and thermodynamic behavior of intermetallic material, GdNiSb has been investigated using FP-LAPW, method, and quasi-harmonic Debye model. The structural parameters have been compared with available experimental values and found to be in good agreement. Electronic and magnetic behavior of GdNiSb compound is shown, the metallic and ferromagnetic character of the compound with the dominant character of Gd-f state electrons but very few contributions of the Ni and Sb atoms. All the calculated properties were observed in resemblance with experimental/theoretical calculation.
