Abstract

In the present paper, we will analysis the unfinished work follows the approach taken by Leung and Eisenberg (1980-1991) for continuous time systems. Let U(o) (u) denote the PFG for the unfinished work U(o) at the end of a vacation, that at the beginning of a service. From the decomposition property for the unfinished work, the PGF U(u) for the unfinished work immediately after an arbitrary slot boundary.
