MATHEMATICAL STUDY OF WAITING TIME IN THE FCFS SYSTEM WITH MULTIPLE VACATIONS

Abstract

In the present paper, we have proceed for finding the PFG W(u) for the waiting time of an arbitrary message in an FCFS gated service system with multiple vacations. As in exhaustive service systems, if we set a group of messages that arrive in the same slot a super message then. We have a Geo/G/1 system of super message such that the virtual waiting time Wg in the original Geox/G/1 system in equivalent to the waiting time of super message in the Geo/G/1 system.
