Abstract

The Jinping government has demonstrated the introduction of expansionist policy through its ambitious project 'One Belt One Road', and has followed the policy of encircling India through this expansionist policy. China has established its relations with Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka around India (from the east) and plans to encircle (from the west) with the help of Pakistan. Wants to have terrestrial access. China wants to establish its naval base in the Indian Ocean so that it can compete with superpowers like America, Britain, and France and can take strategic advantage against India if needed. At present, China's expansionist policy is being opposed in China itself.
