Abstract

The free convection has an attractive importance in atmospheric and oceanic circulations, nuclear reactors, power transformer etc. Schlicting [1972] studied convective flows of an elastico viscous fluid past an infinite porous plate. Pop and Soundelgaker [1978] also discussed the case where there is no heat transfer. Bansal [1977] studied the same case when vertical plate is heated. Soundelgaker [1979] studied free convective alters flow on liquid 'B'.
