LEVEL OF STUDY HABITS AND ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

The aim of the present study is to study the level study habits and academic performance among government high school students. The sample consisted of 78 English medium high school students of 8th and 9th standard. Study habits is measured using “Entwistle student attitude Inventory”by Entwistle & cowell (1971) and Academic performance is measured using four sub tests of “Binet- simons Scale” (1911).Test results are subjected to statistical analysis which revealed positive relationship between study habits and academic performance.
