Abstract

Motivation is the process that initiates, guides, and maintains goal- oriented behaviors. Motivation activated human behaviors to attain certain achievements. Success of the organization mainly reflected by the hard works of employees. Therefore, to achieve the organizational goals employee should be motivated by the external and internal factors. The purposes of this study were to investigate motivation factors in the Banking Industry. The employees of private and public sector banks were the population of the study situated at Ballari city, Karnataka. Data has been collected from the sample of 100 respondents and percentage method has been adopted to analyze the motivational level towards set of factors considered in the study among the respondents.
