Abstract

Indian market for organic food products in Ghaziabad City is at an early stage and has huge opportunity of growth. There is rapid growth in the demand for healthy as well as tasty food products, which are safer for human health and for environmental welfare. This paper studies consumer’s perceptions towards organic food products in Ghaziabad City. Primary data was taken from 80 respondents of Ghaziabad City and simple percentage analyse method is applied. The result of the study is Large numbers of Consumers are willing to pay price premium of for organic products. Knowledge and awareness about organic products could affect attitudes and perceptions of the consumers which can influence consumers purchase decision. Some other factors like, quality, nutritional value, taste, and can influence consumers purchase decision.
