Abstract

Based on the data which is being collected from the different respondents we found how the OTC pharmaceutical brand is important in marketing and how can build the brand with consumer satisfaction. The main objective of the paper is to examine the perceived role of branding in the marketing of pharmaceutical OTC products using Pain Relief Gel / Cream. 111 respondents were sampled from all over Gujarat. The survey was conducted using an online structured questionnaire due to COVID-19. The convenience sampling method was used for the study. The Paper concludes that the Price, Past experience, Physician recommendation, and Pharmacist recommendation are significantly more important attributes in purchasing pain relief Cream / Gel. The findings of the study indicate which attributes are significantly important in purchasing OTC pharmaceutical products (pain relief Cream / Gel). The study also determines that the effectiveness of the product is the most important feature required to attract the OTC pharmaceutical brand.
