Abstract

Food processing Industry is encountering a number of Problems in various aspects like finance, marketing, technological and export etc. There is need for Government to interfere and provide the facilities which facilitate setting up of economically viable Food Processing units which should be equipped with latest technologies and skills. Attention is required in this sector by organizing different motivational and skill oriented programs periodically. The Researcher for this purpose has taken consideration of Food Processing sector for Geographical area of Whole country. India is amongst the leader of food production but the value addition to this in terms processing is not done. The capacity utilization in this area is below the expectations .The study attempts to find that important areas of concerns like un-registration, capital investment, GDP share, FDI-Inflow and Gross Output.
