Abstract
Food Processing Industries of Punjab have been statistically analysed for finding the dominant industry, growthof different food processing industries of Punjab and competitive analysis of relevant food processing industriesat All – India Level. This paper has analysed performance with special reference toseveralfactors related to selected food-processing industries of Punjab i.e. meat, food grains milling, edible oilseeds processing,sugarcane processing and milk processing all of which produce mass consumption goods. It prioritises theseindustries for development based on the performance criteria and discusses strategies.
