Abstract
Despite the importance of phenanthrenederivates as potential pharmacological agents their use is relatively limited. This short review is focused on reporting how some phenanthrene derivatives have been synthesized and their relevant biological activity for the treatment of various diseases. The objective of this review is the motivation of research with phenanthrene derivatives as new pharmacological agents with appropriate biological activity.
