Abstract

The culture of the tea plant is of such a special character perhaps not reproduced in any other agricultural industry in the world that is surrounded by difficulties the meaning and force of which can hardly be judged by the standards of ordinary agriculture either in India or elsewhere, (Watt and Mann, 1987). The present study focus on the relationship between average rainfall and tea yield in two different tea estates with different altitude.
