Abstract
The rapid development of AI challenges traditional data protection norms, particularly in relation to the collection, use, and retention of personal data. There is need to re-examine data protection principles to ensure they adequately address the privacy concerns raised by AI advancements. Considering new data protection mechanisms and the role of individuals in overseeing AI technology has been crucial.
