Abstract
Digital India is a Government of India initiative taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Digital India initiative will lead to change in education sector. Prime Minister’s initiative will aim to provide high-tech education using state-of-the-art technology to all. E-learning could be one of the segments that can be best benefited from the initiative. The campaign's target is to provide broadband connectivity to a quarter of a million rural villages by 2019 and making Wi-Fi connections available in schools. Thus, with the Digital India initiative, e-learning looks more vibrant in the future. Digital India initiative is a step in right direction which will achieve the fore set goals. Certain challenges associated with the implementation of this advancement. Thus it requires some pre-requisites.
