Abstract

Ethnic and religious boundaries and the locals' long-held beliefs that the deities reside there and protect the inhabitants from different calamities, sacred groves are enormous tracts of diversified virgin forest that have long been loved by the people. Every sacred grove has its own mythology, myths, and tales that are fundamental components of the sacred grove.
