Abstract

In spite of increasing technological advances, the athletes have to perform tremendously as far as neuro-muscular co-ordination and collateral pressure distribution is concerned. The feet are considered as an important part of our body for standing a locomotive performance. It supports not only the whole body weight but also bears several times of body weight during physical performance. Different morphological foot characteristics are associated with different functions. The normal foot with twenty six (26) bones and associated muscles ensures the foot’s static and dynamic functions and contributes to the overall features of the foot, but the shape and morphology differs from individuals and are important for preventing injuries and providing information about sportsperformance.Human being having collateral asymmetricity in regard to morphological volume and functional/neurological ability, males areno exceptional.
